A very warm Welcome to the

‘Homework’ Lounge

Huge congratulations 🎉 you’re one step closer to connecting with your dream customers online!

Good design will help convert more website visitors into customers. This’ll bring in more enquiries and interest, making you look more professional in your industry and helping to take you to exactly where you dream of being in your business. How fab!

I’m SO excited to get started on your project! I promise to give you my very best but, in order to do that, I need a little help from you

This page will tell you exactly what I need you to do before the project begins and provide you with a few tips and tricks to get the best from this collaboration for your amazing business. Because guess what? You deserve it

Don’t forget to save the link to your client hub (in your welcome email) as this will have all the key information and links specific to your own exciting project.

Any questions or if you’d like any feedback on your homework at any point, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email, hello@eleanorstones.co.uk.

Step 1: Pinterest inspiration board

Step 2: Questionnaires + Logins

Step 3: Compile content

Step 1: Pinterest Inspiration Board

Create and fill a public board with inspiration for your brand. If you get stuck, feel free to pin from my design boards.

Here’s the Pinterest board I used for the Eleanor Stones website as an example.

While there are images of websites and brands from different industries there are also a range of lifestyle Instagram images, patterns, logos, graphics, and paintings. Pin as many images as you like (the more the better) and I’ll look for similarities within them.

To submit, insert the link to your Pinterest inspiration board through the Brand & Style Questionnaire below.

If Pinterest isn’t your thing, don’t worry. You can search Google for images that resonate with the way you want your brand to feel and upload them into a folder in the Google Drive that I have shared with you. Please get in touch if you have any questions about either methods.

Step 2: Questionnaires + Logins

These questionnaires will help me understand your goals and style whilst also giving you some extra clarity! I’ve split it into three parts so you can spread your time between them or tackle it all in one go.

Firstly, the Your Ideal Customer Avatar Questionnaire will dive deep into exactly who your ideal customer is. Truly understanding your ideal customer will not only help you be more successful in your business, but it’ll also help guide us in making design decisions. Win-win.

Secondly, the Your Brand Questionnaire will ask you for all the important details to understand your brand, goals and journey so far.

Finally, Your Style Questionnaire takes a look at your style. This includes questions to learn about your style, inspiration websites and any special requests.

Step 3: Compile and send content

A design without content will make your website look a little... well, naked. So let’s get some text and photo content ready, shall we?

In order to stick to timeframes and deadlines set, I’ll need all the content for your website before I start the project. I really can’t stress this enough. Creating a website in such a short period is only possible when content is ready prior to the start date.

You will need to provide the text for all pages, supply your logo (if I’m not doing your branding!) and any particular photos you want to be used on the site.

I encourage you to take a look at my content guide and your Client Hub before you begin.

To submit, upload your content to the Google Drive folder I’ve sent to you.

 YOU DID IT!

Congratulations

After you’ve completed everything in the Homework section of this page, we’re all set to begin your project - I can’t wait to work with you!

But for now you have full permission to pop the fizz and put your feet up 🥂
